What’s In Our Fall Beauty Bag
Fall is such an amazing style season. When the summer winds down and chillier temps emerge, there’s a buzz in the air. That first day you reach for a favorite jacket or killer boots — or linger by a shop window to eye that amazing autumn outfit — it feels like a new beginning.
Something that’s new on our fall 2019 style radar are two recent product launches by Aveda, and we’re all too excited to add these to our beauty repertoire!
Starting at the top with our hair: This year, Aveda brought back its much-missed, crowd-pleasing Sap Moss shampoo and conditioner, much to the joy of fans all over. The key to Sap Moss is its weightless hydration—that is, it adds lasting moisture without the usual heaviness of deep conditioner.

So what’s the deal with sap and moss? Larch tree sap seals-in moisture to help the tree stay alive during freezing winters. Icelandic moss can survive long winter droughts because it is able to absorb twice its weight in water.
The combination is impressive. Sap Moss leaves you with quenched hair that’s shinier, softer, more manageable and much easier to style—that’s a win for every season!
Moving on to makeup: Aveda has introduced two new lippies to its Feed My Lips line and we are obsessed. Always cruelty-free, Aveda has taken that a step further by making its new Pure Nourish-Mint Liquid Color Lip Gloss and Color Balm, vegan.
The gloss provides sheer-to-medium tint with a lightweight gloss finish, and gives you all-day moisture. The color balm has a soft texture with a rich cream finish, providing cushion-soft, creaseless lips. Both are long-lasting and stay put, and contain a superfruit blend of pomegranate, mangosteen, acai and avocado.
